Mean Green look to finish out first half of the season strong
TULSA, Okla. – With a strong fall semester already under their belt, North Texas women's tennis looks to close out the first half of the season strong as they travel to Tulsa to compete in the Hurricane Invite over the weekend.
Starting on Friday, the three days of competition will consist of matchups against host Tulsa, Central Arkansas and Wichita State. All three teams should pose formidable competition for the Mean Green.
"We have seen incredible growth both on and off the court this fall," head coach Sujay Lama said. "We have this one last opportunity to compete and finish strong. It's a great opportunity for us to create momentum for the spring season."
Thus far in the 2022-23 campaign, UNT has posted impressive numbers on the court. As a team, the Mean Green have posted a 90-48 overall record going 65-36 in singles play and 25-12 in doubles.
The entire Hurricane Invite will be streamed live here.
