Mean Green looking to avoid starting C-USA play 0-2 for the first time since 2014-15
MIAMI (Dec. 30, 2022) – After almost pulling off a remarkable comeback Thursday night against FAU, North Texas returns to action Saturday with a quick turnaround as they look to grab their first conference win in Miami against FIU.
It will be the 25th all-time meeting between the two programs with UNT holding a 13-11 edge. UNT comes into the contest having won six of the last seven games between the two programs dating back to the 2013-14 season.
FIU heads into the contest at 5-5 overall and 0-1 in conference play, dropping their first C-USA game against FAU. The Panthers have a pair of common opponents with UNT having knocked off Howard and before dropping a contest against the Owls.
