Tennis to Play UTA

ARLINGTON – UNT tennis is headed south to Arlington to face UTA on Wednesday at 3 p.m. CT.
The Mean Green (9-9) are coming off a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to Houston on Sunday. The team played a match riddled with tiebreakers and fought until the very end. Freshman Liisa Vehvilainen left it all on the court with three tiebreakers and a third set while junior Kexuan Zhou made quick work with a win in her match.
UTA (17-2) most recently fell 4-2 to Georgia State on Sunday but had won the 15 matches prior. They are currently at No. 68 in ITA rankings. The Mavericks are led by Sarine Reinertsen who is undefeated at 15-0 this spring and Tara Gorinsek who is 14-0.
