Tennis Heads to Tulsa

TULSA – UNT tennis is headed north to face future American Athletic Conference rival Tulsa on Saturday with a match beginning at 10 a.m. CT. The match will take place at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The Mean Green fell to UTA in Arlington on Wednesday. After clinching the doubles point, UNT struggled in singles play losing by a narrow 4-3. Freshman Jasmine Adams won both of her matches including the doubles clincher with partner Sophia Hummel.
Tulsa (12-6) is on a two-match winning streak after defeating Kansas City on Saturday and sweeping ORU two days prior. They currently hold an ITA ranking of 46. The Hurricane is led by Lilly Hutchings who is 18-8 in singles play and 18-5 with doubles partner Ana Naranjo Martinez this season.
