ESPN designations announced during season.
DENTON, Texas – Selected game times and TV designations for UNT's 2022 football schedule were announced Thursday by Conference USA and its broadcast partners.

UNT's Week Zero trip to UTEP will be broadcast by Stadium and kickoff at 8 pm CT. The following week, the Mean Green will take the field for its season opener against rival SMU at 6:30 pm at Apogee Stadium on CBSSN.

Other home games include Texas Southern (6:30 pm), Florida Atlantic (3 pm), LA Tech (3 pm), FIU (3 pm) and Rice (1 pm). Texas Southern will be broadcast on ESPN3, while the other four matchups are set for ESPN Networks with specifics coming later in the fall.

UNT's road trip to UNLV is set for Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. CT (television info TBA), while television info and game time for the Mean Green's Sept. 24 game at Memphis will be announced at a later date.

Back-to-back late October trips to UTSA and WKU will both kick at 2:30 pm CT and be broadcast by Stadium. UNT's final road game of the season at UAB will also be broadcast by Stadium and begin at 2:30 pm CT.

UNT football season tickets for the 2022 season are available through the North Texas Athletics Ticket Office now. Season tickets can be purchased anytime online or by phone at (940) 565-2527 during normal business hours. Multiple payment plans are still available when purchasing season tickets.
