DENTON — The North Texas women's soccer team looks to bounce Sunday as they host the Texas Tech Red Raiders at 1 p.m. CT.
Sunday's match will be streamed on ESPN+ and will be a White Out. Fans are encouraged to wear all white clothing.
Sunday's contest will be the 11th all-time meeting between the two schools. The Red Raiders lead the narrow series history 5-4-1. However, North Texas has never lost at home to Texas Tech and is on a four-match winning streak in Denton versus the Big 12 opponent.
After starting the season with four straight victories, UNT (4-2-1) has had a recent dip in form by losing two of its last three. But a victory over Texas Tech (2-2-3) at home on Sunday could get everything back on track as they begin conference play next week.
Defense has been the sore spot on the Mean Green's resume over the last three matches. UNT, which allowed just two goals over the first four matches, has conceded eight goals over the last three matches. UNT's attack remains a confident characteristic of this team as they are average three goals per contest.
