BOZEMAN, Mont. – North Texas volleyball will travel to wrap up its non-conference schedule at the Bobcat Invitational on Sept. 16-17.
UNT will open the tournament against its second consecutive ranked opponent, No. 18 Washington at 11 a.m. CT on Friday, Sept. 16. North Texas have only met the Huskies in one previous matchup, a defeat in the 2002 Mean Green Classic in Denton.
Kristee Porter's team will face Boise State in the second match of a doubleheader at 4 p.m. CT on Friday in Shroyer Gymnasium. The Mean Green are winless in 10 matches versus the Broncos, with the last meeting at the North Texas Invitational in 2015.
The final contest of the weekend is set for Saturday, Sept. 17 against host Montana State at 3 p.m. CT on ESPN+. The two sides are tied 1-1 all-time with last season's hard-fought, five-set defeat to the Bobcats at the North Texas Challenge providing the backdrop for the matchup.
