FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The UNT divers returned to the pool for a dual meet against Arkansas and Kansas on Friday and Saturday which included 1-meter, 3-meter and platform.
Saylor Hawkins, Brigid Krbec and Olivia Dollar finished fourth, fifth and seventh, respectively, in the 1-meter with Altaira Wallquist and Makaia Goemans rounding out the top 10.
In the 3-meter springboard, Hawkins captured fourth with Wallquist, Krbec, Dollar and Goemans finishing in sixth, seventh, ninth and 10th, respectively.
On the platform, Krbec set a new personal-best mark of 188.05, finishing in fifth. She was followed by Hawkins, Ferguson, Dollar and Goemans, all finishing inside the top-10.
"The divers had a really successful trip to Arkansas," diving coach Stephanie O'Callaghan said. "It's been a busy three weeks of travel and meets and they've done a great job of staying focused and progressing. It's always helpful to push ourselves outside our comfort zone and this environment was perfect for that. Everything we've done as a team this year has been focused on helping us learn and prepare for this great, new challenge in the American. We're excited to finish out at home next week then focus on conference."
The divers will return home on Jan. 28 against Iowa State at 1 p.m. in Denton.
