
Volleyball Set for Temple and Charlotte

DENTON, Texas – UNT volleyball hosts Temple on Friday at 6 p.m. and Charlotte at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the North Texas Volleyball Center. Both American Athletic Conference matches will be broadcast on ESPN+.
The Mean Green (12-11, 6-4) picked up a 3-1 conference road win at South Florida on Friday with a season-high 69 kills. Treyaunna Rush was named to The American Honor Roll on Monday after she posted 17 kills with a .316 hitting percentage and four blocks in the four-set win over the Bulls.
Setter Kamryn Scroggins recorded 31 assists to set a new season-high mark and paired it with 10 digs for her third consecutive double-double.
Sh'Diamond Holly continued her efficient attacks with nine kills on 13 attempts for a .615 hitting percentage. She leads The American a .427 clip for the season.
Temple (15-7, 5-5) extended its three-match winning streak with a 3-2 victory over east division foes Charlotte on Saturday. UNT will meet the Owls for the first time in program history.
The 49ers (9-13, 2-8) enter the weekend on a six-match skid and travel to Tulane on Friday. North Texas holds a 7-2 record over Charlotte, including a five-match winning streak, with a three-set sweep last season.
