Women’s Basketball Faces Road Test at Texas A&M

DENTON, Texas – The UNT women's basketball team will play its first road game of the season on Sunday when it takes on Texas A&M at 2 p.m. CT at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.
The Mean Green have started 2-0 this season, defeating UNT Dallas and Grambling State at home. UNT has been efficient on both sides of the ball so far this season ranking in the top-20 nationally in categories on offense and defense.
The Mean Green are averaging 100.0 points per game, while leading the country in free throw attempts and free throws made per game. On defense, North Texas is holding opponents to 25.6% from the field and forcing 34.0 turnovers per game, the fifth most in the country.
Sunday's game will be streamed on SECN+ with Will Johnson and Katy Lee on the call. The game can also be heard on the Varsity Sports Network App with Zac Babb.
