
Mean Green Travel to Southern Illinois for Sunday Matchup

DENTON, Texas – The UNT women's basketball team looks to win its second straight road game when it takes on Southern Illinois on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT in Carbondale, Illinois.
The Mean Green are in the middle of a five-game stretch away from home and have split the first two after bouncing back from a loss to Texas A&M with a dominating 78-55 win over Stephen F. Austin. The victory over SFA marked the first win in program history over the Ladyjacks in Nacogdoches.
With a win, North Texas would improve to 4-1 to start the season for the first time since the 2017-18 campaign.
Sunday's game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Dominic Hoscher and Mike Trude on the call. The game can also be heard on the Varsity Sports Network App with Zac Babb.
