
Volleyball Falls at SMU

DALLAS – UNT volleyball fell 3-0 to SMU on Friday at Moody Coliseum.
North Texas (17-13, 11-6) suffered its first sweep (18-25, 22-25, 17-25) since Sept. 14 and only its fourth three-set loss of the season. The Mean Green lost to the Mustangs (22-6, 16-1) for the first time since 2019.
Aryn Johnson led the offense with 11 kills while Sh'Diamond Holly registered a .455 hitting percentage.
Jayde Harris returned to the lineup with seven kills, including three consecutive points during a late first-set run. She also matched her career high with two solo blocks in the match.
Aleeyah Galdeira collected a match-high mark of 16 digs which moved her into eight on the single-season program leaderboard with 476 digs.
Kamryn Scroggins paced the Mean Green with 18 assists and two aces.

The Mean Green return to Moody Coliseum on Saturday at 2 p.m. for its final road conference contest of the season against SMU. The match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
