
Volleyball Drops Four-Set Battle

WICHITA, Kan. – UNT volleyball fell 3-1 at Wichita State on Friday in an American Athletic Conference West Division tussle at Charles Koch Arena.
The Mean Green (14-12, 8-5) collected 12 blocks in the four-set affair (19-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-27) to mark a program record seventh-consecutive match with double-digit stops. North Texas held the Shockers (17-6, 11-2) to a .250 hitting percentage, its lowest attack rate since Sept. 29 at SMU.
Treyaunna Rush led the Mean Green offense with 13 kills on 27 attacks for a .296 hitting percentage. She added three blocks and two digs. Since Oct. 8, Rush has an attack rate of .316 and leads the team at 3.11 kills per set.
Truli Levy posted 11 kills on 20 attacks to improve her league-leading hitting percentage in conference matches to .410. She tallied 14.5 points with a match-high six blocks.
Aleeyah Galdeira led the match with 19 digs to move closer to second place on the UNT career digs leaderboard.
Ceci Harness collected 28 assists and three digs. She has led North Texas in assists in 16 matches this season and posted her 10th match with more than 25.
Kamryn Scroggins recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 18 assists and 10 digs. She has recorded 12 or more assists in every match this season.
