Women’s Basketball Heads to Louisiana for Sunday Showdown

DENTON, Texas – The UNT women's basketball team travels to Lafayette to take on Louisiana Sunday at 4 p.m. CT inside the Cajundome.
A familiar foe for North Texas, the teams have met 38 times heading into Sunday's contest. It marks the fourth-most played series for UNT behind SMU, UTA and Louisiana Monroe.
The Mean Green are coming off three home wins that extended their win streak to seven games. They will have a chance to tie the 2000-01 team for the longest streak in program history with a win against the Ragin' Cajuns.
Sunday's game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Dan McDonald and Byron Starks on the call. The game can also be heard on the Varsity Sports Network App with Zac Babb.
