
Women’s Basketball Closes Out Nonconference Play at Montana State

DENTON, Texas – The UNT women's basketball team is set to wrap up its nonconference schedule against Montana State Thursday at 8 p.m. CT.
The Mean Green are looking to close out a successful nonconference slate with their ninth straight win, which would set a program record for longest win streak. At 10-1 overall, UNT's lone loss so far came on the road at Texas A&M on Nov. 12.
It's last time out, North Texas rolled to a 71-48 victory over Louisiana that boosted its NET ranking to No. 58. UNT had four double-digit scorers, led by DesiRay Kernal who posted 18 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Thursday's game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Ian Laird and Diana Johnson on the call. The game can also be heard on the Varsity Sports Network App with Zac Babb.
