
Women’s Basketball Kicks Off Four-Game Homestand Thursday Against LA Tech

DENTON, Texas (Feb. 15, 2023) – Coming off a pair of road losses last week against UAB and Charlotte, UNT returns to action Thursday night when they take on LA Tech inside the Super Pit to start a four-game homestand.
It is the 21st all-time meeting between the UNT and LA Tech in a series that dates back to the 1989-90 season. The Lady Techsters have won three straight matchups in the series, including an 81-66 win over the Mean Green in Ruston, La., earlier this season.
LA Tech is currently 14-10 overall this season and 7-7 in C-USA play, just one game ahead of UNT in the conference standings. The Lady Techsters won back-to-back games over FIU and FAU last week at home but are just 3-5 away from Ruston this season.

- LA Tech is 16-4 in the all-time series against the Mean Green.
