
Women's Basketball Welcomes UTEP to Super Pit Looking to Sweep Season Series

Mean Green and Miners have swept the season series every year since 2018-19
DENTON, Texas (Feb. 17, 2023) - The four-game homestand for UNT continues Saturday night when they take on UTEP inside the Super Pit looking to snap a three-game losing skid and knock off the Miners for the second time this season.
It will be the 21st all-time meeting between UNT and UTEP in a series that dates back to the 1980-81 season. The Miners lead the all-time series 11-9 and the two teams have split the season series every year since the 2018-19 season.
UTEP heads into the contest at 17-7 overall and 10-5 in conference play, currently sitting in third place in the league standings.
The Miners have won four of their last five games after dropping the contest against UNT earlier this season, including handing then No. 21 Middle Tennessee its first conference loss of the year.
