2023 Kickoff Celebration Date Announced

DENTON, Texas – UNT Athletics and the Mean Green Scholarship Fund have announced the 2023 Kickoff Celebration event for Saturday, August 12 at 5:30 pm. The event, scheduled to take place in the HUB Club, marks the beginning of the 2023-24 athletic year and will give fans the opportunity to hear from select Mean Green coaches and vice president and director of athletics Jared Mosley.
Inflatables for kids will be all setup throughout the concourse. During the event, attendees will have the option to purchase season and single-game tickets, sign up for the Scrappy Squad kid's club, join the Mean Green Scholarship Fund and more.
Complimentary food, water and soft drinks will be provided by Mean Green Concessions, with beer and wine available for purchase. Crooked Crust, Kona Ice and Beth Marie's Ice Cream will be on hand. Voertman's will have new gear for the 2023 seasons available.
Additionally, UNT Athletics will be selling game-used football jerseys for $75 plus tax with limited quantities available. Season ticket holders will also be able to pick up their 2023 gift at the event.
Starting at 6:30 pm in The HUB Club, you will have a chance to hear from Mosley along with men's basketball coach Ross Hodge and football coach Eric Morris. Voice of the Mean Green Dave Barnett will emcee the event. Additional UNT head coaches are scheduled to attend.

UNT Football season tickets for the 2023 season are available through the North Texas Athletics Ticket Office now. Season tickets can be purchased anytime online or by phone at (940) 565-2527 during normal business hours and are available for as low as $80 per ticket. Payment plans are still available when purchasing season tickets. Mean Green football season ticket holders receive several exclusive benefits including access to the best seats at home, exclusive pre-sales for home, away, and postseason events, an exclusive season ticket holder gift, and more!
