Softball Announces Fall Schedule

DENTON, Texas – The UNT softball 2023 fall schedule will feature eight games including a neutral-site meeting against NCAA Regional participant Baylor, head coach Rodney DeLong announced on Tuesday.
The Mean Green will open its fall slate on Oct. 13 at UT Arlington. The schedule will conclude on Nov. 1 with a matchup against Grayson College in Denton.
All UNT home games this fall will be played at Denton Guyer Softball Stadium.
North Texas finished last season as Conference USA Championship finalists with a 35-22 overall record. UNT enters its first season in the American Athletic Conference after it captured three league titles over the past five years.
DeLong returns 16 letter winners including all-conference selections Kailey Gamble, Cierra Simon, Kalei Christensen, Mikayla Smith, McKenzie Wagoner and Tatum Sparks.
