Soccer Hosts USF Sunday Afternoon

DENTON — The UNT soccer team hosts South Florida Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. CT at the Mean Green Soccer and Track & Field Stadium. After the match the Mean Green will host a youth clinic for children 14 and under.
Sunday's match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
North Texas (7-4-3, 3-2-1) heads into the mid-day match aiming to get back on track after a 2-1 defeat last week at (RV) Rice where the Mean Green led going into the half. The Bulls (9-2-3, 4-1-2) are once again a strong American Athletic Conference opponent as they sit in a tie for second place in the league standings. A win Sunday for the Mean Green would go a long way for the home side in the league standings as well getting closer to securing their 30th straight winning season.
Sunday will mark the first time the Mean Green have ever hosted USF. They enter Sunday's match unbeaten in home conference matches and are on a six-match home unbeaten streak.
After Sunday's match the Mean Green hit the road for Charlotte on Thursday.
