Women's Golf Wraps Up Play at Medinah

MEDINAH, Ill. - The UNT women's golf team finished up play on Tuesday at the Illini Invitational at Medinah Country Club's famed No. 2 course, which has played host to multiple U.S. Opens, PGA Championships and a Ryder Cup.
The Mean Green shot a second straight 5-over 293 to finish in 14th place at 19-over par.
UNT was led by junior Mason Lewis, who shot her second straight 2-under 70 to finish in a tie for 14th place at 5-under par after a 71-70-70. On Tuesday, the Mean Green were led by sophomore Bouquet Subsomboon's 4-under 68, which moved her up 21 spots on the leaderboard to a tie for 42nd.
The Mean Green will be back in action on Oct. 20-21, at the Jim West Challenge in San Marcos, Texas, to wrap up the fall schedule.
