Volleyball Hosts Florida Atlantic, Visits Temple

DENTON, Texas – The Mean Green return to the UNT Volleyball Center against Florida Atlantic on Friday at 6 p.m. before visiting Temple at noon on Sunday from McGonigle Hall in Philadelphia.
Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+ with tickets for Friday's match available HERE.
UNT (8-15, 5-7) dropped a pair of American Athletic Conference road matches with a three-set loss on Friday against UAB and a 3-1 defeat at Memphis on Sunday. For the weekend, junior Kamryn Scroggins led the team in assists including a 34 assist, 10 dig double-double on Sunday against the Tigers.
The Mean Green lead the all-time series 14-5 against FAU (14-10, 6-6), including a four-match winning streak that dates back to Nov. 16, 2018. Last season, UNT claimed a three-set home sweep of the Owls on Sept. 20, 2023.
Sunday's match at Temple (11-15, 3-9) will mark the second-ever meeting between the programs after UNT won a five-set thriller in Denton on Oct. 27, 2023. In last year's match, the Mean Green posted 14 blocks, including eight solo stops to mark the fourth-most solo blocks in a single match of the 25-point rally-scoring era, which began in 2008.
