Morris, Football Sign Nine High School Prospects on Early Signing Day

Mean Green sign seven prospects from the state of Texas, two from Oklahoma
DENTON – Head Coach Eric Morris announced the addition of nine new student-athletes to the UNT football team on National Signing Day Wednesday.
All nine of the signees from the early signing window are high school prospects, seven of which hail from the state of Texas.
"We're excited about this group," Morris said. "It's a little bit smaller than what we signed the last couple of years…We were able to attack some of the needs we have on this roster for next season, and we feel good about how the class as a whole addresses areas we feel we needed some help."
Two of the prospects, Chris Jimerson Jr. and Jaden Manning, will be January enrollees and will compete with the Mean Green this spring. The remaining seven players will join UNT in the summer of 2025.
UNT can continue to add to the roster prior to the start of the Spring 2025 semester and in the traditional February signing period.
