Football Announces 2024 Schedule

UNT set to play in second season in the AAC
DENTON, Texas – UNT Football will play six road games and six home games in the 2024 season, including four non-conference contests before hosting Tulsa to start American Athletic Conference play Sept. 28.
In his second year at the helm, head coach Eric Morris will lead the Mean Green in their first contest on the road August 31 at South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. One week later, UNT will host SFA in its first home contest on Sept. 7. UNT continues non-conference play with a trip to Lubbock to play Texas Tech (Sept. 14) before hosting Wyoming (Sept. 21).
UNT will play its first conference game in The American of 2024 at DATCU Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 28. The Mean Green will also host Tulane (Oct. 26), Army (Nov. 9) and East Carolina (Nov. 23) for home conference games.
Away conference contests include games at Florida Atlantic (Oct. 12), Memphis (Oct. 19), UTSA (Friday, Nov. 15) and Temple (Nov. 30). The Friday night contest at UTSA will be featured on the ESPN Networks.
Each of the 14 teams in The American will play eight conference games in 2024. The top two teams in the final single-division regular-season standings will meet Friday, Dec. 6 in the 10th American Athletic Conference Football Championship.
Kickoff times and television designations for the first three weeks of the season, as well as the season-long weeknight games, will be finalized by June 1. The rest of the schedule will fall under the customary 12-day and six-day selection processes.
UNT football season ticket renewals for the 2024 season are now available. Season ticket holders are able to log into their online account here to complete their season ticket & MGSF renewal. Season ticket holders acting fast can utilize 3- to 6-month payment plans. Please note that invoices are based on 2023 season ticket seat locations. Adjustments to seat locations can be made by contacting the North Texas Athletics Ticket Office.

Fans interested in becoming new season ticket holders for the 2024 season may online or by calling the North Texas Athletics Ticket Office at (940) 565-2527 during normal business hours.
Season Ticket prices for 2024 in most of the general bowl have been frozen at the same price levels as last season. The only changes will occur in sections 104-106 where permanent chairback seating is being added.
Patrons in those areas will be contacted directly by the UNT ticket office about this exciting seating enhancement and the reseating process. A full reseating of patrons in those sections will be conducted in May utilizing MGSF Priority Point order. Following the completion of the current patron reseat, those patrons who did not have seats in Sections 104-106 last season will be seated.
