Swimmers Set For National Invitational Championship

OCALA, Fla. - The Mean Green will send five swimmers to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America National Invitational Championships, which is set to begin Thursday and run through Saturday.
The national invitational postseason meet is equivalent to college basketball's NIT and swimmers must qualify for the event.
In the pool, UNT will be represented by Emily Ally (50 backstroke), Diana Kolb (50 backstroke, 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke) Shaena McCloud (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 100 butterfly) and Kailey Turner (200 butterfly). They will also send two relays: the 400 freestyle relay and 200 freestyle relay, both of which will include Samantha Robles.
On the board, Sydney Guidara, Saylor Hawkins and Brigid Krbec will have their scores from the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard competitions at this week's NCAA Zone D Championships counted, while Hawkins' score from the platform event at the NCAA Zone D Championships will also be counted.
