DENTON, Texas – Former UNT women's basketball player Dyani Robinson signed a professional contract to play in North Macedonia with KK Kriva Palanka for the 2024-25 season.
In her lone year at North Texas, Robinson appeared in all 32 games while making four starts. The former Division II All-American played a pivotal role off the bench for the Mean Green as she earned the AAC's Sixth Player of the Year award after averaging 10.5 points per game and totaling 75 assists.
She followed Jason Burton to North Texas after playing four seasons at Texas A&M-Commerce where she became one of the best players in the nation at the Division II level. She capped off her college career with over 1,700 points and 317 assists over 127 games.
The Cypress, Texas, native is the first American to sign with KK Kriva Palanka in the team's history. The club went 11-9 in the 2023-24 regular season with a loss in the semifinals of the playoff bracket.
Robinson is the second player from last season's roster to sign a professional contract overseas this summer. Fellow A&M-Commerce transfer, DesiRay Kernal, agreed to a deal with Greece's Pas Giannena in the A1 League in May.
