
Volleyball Falls at UNLV

LAS VEGAS – UNT volleyball completed its weekend with a 3-0 loss at UNLV on Saturday at Cox Pavilion.
The Mean Green (2-7) were limited to 28 kills over the three-set match (17-25, 21-25, 17-25) against the Rebels (5-2), who posted 42.
Setter/opposite hitter Claire Dewine led UNT with career-high marks of seven kills and 16 attacks while she recorded season-best tallies with 11 assists and 10 digs. With her dig and assist marks, she collected her first double-double of the season and sixth of her career.
Middle blocker Priscilla Jones registered a perfect hitting percentage with seven kills on seven attacks while she added two blocks and one ace to pace the Mean Green with nine points.

UNT wraps up its pre-conference schedule with a trip to No. 13 Florida at 6 PM CT on Friday at Exactech Arena on SEC Network Plus. The Mean Green will also face Buffalo at 4 PM CT on Saturday, Sept. 21 in Gainesville.
