
Volleyball Bests Bulls

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – UNT volleyball collected its second sweep of the season with a 3-0 win over Buffalo on Saturday at Exactech Arena to finish the pre-conference portion of its regular season schedule.
The Mean Green (3-8) held the Bulls (4-8) to a negative hitting percentage (-.010, 23-24-96) while it posted a .262 mark over three sets (25-14, 25-21, 25-9) with 36 kills.
Payton Van Veen led the team with 13.5 points, nine kills and five block assists while she added five digs, two aces and one assist.
Freshman Ryann Vik set new career-high marks with six kills, 14 attacks and five blocks for 10.5 points, finishing second behind Van Veen.
