Women's Golf Ends Rain-Shortened Schooner Classic

NORMAN, Okla. - The UNT women's golf team finished up play on Monday at the Schooner Fall Classic after Sunday's second round was cut short due to rain and lightning.
The teams' scores from Sunday were voided and Monday served as the second and final round of what was shortened to a 36-hole event, and the Mean Green finished 12th at 13-over par at Belmar Golf Club.
The Mean Green were led by sophomore Bouquet Subsomboon, who finished tied for 19th at even-par after a 1-under 69 on Monday.
The team will be back in action Oct. 7-8, at the Illini Women's Invitational at famed Medinah Country Club - host to PGA Championships, U.S. Opens and the 2012 Ryder Cup.
