DENTON, Texas — The UNT women's basketball team heads to South Florida for a key game in the American Athletic Conference having won five in-a-row and nine of its last 10 games.

The Mean Green and Bulls will meet 21 days after their matchup in Denton, which UNT won, 72-65. Saturday's game in Tampa will tip-off at 6 p.m. CT from the Yuengling Center where USF is 11-2 this season.

Tommisha Lampkin led North Texas with 29 points, tying a career high, in the win over USF on Jan. 11. Jaaucklyn Moore and Ereauna Hardaway also scored in double figures in what has turned into the start of UNT's five-game win streak. The Mean Green are coming off a 70-67 victory over Temple on Wednesday night where they overcame a 19-point deficit to shock the Owls in Denton.

Meanwhile, the Bulls knocked off UTSA, 75-63, on Wednesday, handing the Roadrunners their first conference loss. The outcomes of both games resulted in UNT and UTSA holding a share of first place in the AAC at 8-1, while South Florida sits a game behind at 7-2.

The Mean Green will look to improve upon their best start to conference play in program history while completing a season sweep of the Bulls.

Saturday's game will be streamed on ESPN+ and can be heard on the Varsity Network App with Zac Babb on the call.
