DENTON – Mean Green volleyball welcomes East Carolina to the UNT Volleyball Center for an American Conference match on Friday at 6 p.m. The match will be streamed on ESPN+ with tickets available HERE.

UNT (13-5, 3-3) hosts the Pirates (10-7, 2-4) for the second time in program history and first since 2013 when the Mean Green swept ECU in three sets. North Texas closes the weekend at Memphis on Sunday at 1 p.m. from Larry O. Finch Center.

"We love playing at home," head coach Dave Fleming said. "We like to take advantage of our home crowd because it gets pretty rowdy in our friendly confines."

Entering Friday, the Mean Green have tallied four-consecutive sellouts which is tied for the second-longest sellout streak in UNT Volleyball Center history after it opened in 2006.

For the first time since 2013, the Mean Green will host ECU on Friday at the UNT Volleyball Center with streaming coverage on ESPN+ at 6 p.m.
UNT trails the all-time series 1-2 with road losses in each of the past two seasons against the Pirates
East Carolina edged out the Mean Green in a five-set match on Oct. 6, 2024, as UNT posted 68 kills with a .327 hitting percentage

The Mean Green are winless in six meetings against the Tigers, including three losses over the past two seasons
UNT dropped a three-set loss at home on Oct. 20, 2024, before a 3-1 defeat in the first-ever meeting against the Tigers in Memphis
