Brown Introductory Press Conference Set for Monday at 11 AM

Brown to be introduced as 21st coach in program history
DENTON – Neal Brown will be introduced as the 21st head coach of UNT Football at 11 a.m. Monday in the HUB Club on the third floor of DATCU Stadium.
The event is free and open to the public. Parking will be available in the Black Lot and Green Lot. Attendees should enter DATCU Stadium through the suite entrance next to gate two and head to the third floor.
UNT Vice President and Director of Athletics Jared Mosley announced Brown as the head coach on Tuesday, Dec. 2. Across 10 seasons as an FBS head coach, Brown has compiled a 72-51 overall record with his teams making seven bowl appearances. He was named the 2017 Sun Belt Coach of the Year at Troy after leading the Trojans to an 11-2 record and a conference title.
Brown spent six seasons at West Virginia and four at Troy where he compiled a 5-1 record in bowl games as a head coach. Most recently, he was on staff at the University of Texas as the Special Assistant to Head Coach Steve Sarkisian for the 2025 season.

Season ticket deposits for the 2026 season are on sale here for $50.
