Swim & Dive Hosting Little Rock for Senior Day
2/7/2025 9:00:00 AM | Swimming and Diving
DENTON - The UNT swimming and diving teams will host Little Rock on Saturday in the final home meet of the season and final tuneup for the American Athletic Conference Championship later this month.
The Mean Green will honor their senior class, as they look to improve to 3-0 at home this season, with the swimmers competing at Pohl Recreation Center and the divers at the PEB Natatorium, with the meet set to begin at 11 a.m. A third home win on the year would make head coach Brittany Roth the program's all-time wins leader, as she is currently tied with Joe Dykstra (2006-13) with 31 career victories.
"This weekend is a great opportunity to take time to celebrate our senior class," head coach Brittany Roth said. "They have worked so hard throughout their careers to help build such a great team and great team atmosphere for the underclassmen. I'm excited to see them compete one more time here in Denton, and I'm looking forward to seeing them build from each of our meets this season, and using Saturday's meet as one final tuneup in the midst of getting ready for The American championships."
