Tennis Adds Drpic to 2025-26 Roster

Giuliana Slovena Clangherotti Drpic comes to Denton after a stellar juniors career.
DENTON — The UNT women's tennis team and head coach Amanda Stone has announced the signing of Giuliana Slovena Ciangherotti Drpic to the squad for the 2025-26 season.
A native of Santiago, Chile, Drpic comes to Denton bringing an impressive resume.
Drpic has represented her home country of Chile on the national stage since 2019. From 2023-25, Drpic played for Team ATV in Chile and was on the Serie A squad in 2024. She was also on Team Chile South American in both 2019 and 2021.
In tournament play, Dpric most recently won the NextGen U18 women's tournament in Spain in 2024. She also was the No. 1 ranked U14 player in Chile in 2021, a year where she won the Babolat Cup and the Banana Bowl Tournament while also advancing to the qualifiers in the 2nd European Tour and advancing to the semifinal of the Brasil Junior's Cup.
Dpric also earned a 3rd COSAT Classification in 2021, a distinction given to top U18 tennis players in South America by the South America Tennis Confederation
