Women's Golf Moves Up at AAC Championship

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - The UNT women's golf team moved up two spots on the leaderboard at the American Athletic Championship on Tuesday after shooting a 7-over 295 and will enter Wednesday's final round in a tie for fourth place at 15-over with Memphis.
The Mean Green were led by junior Mason Lewis, who shot a 2-under 70 and is now at even-par alone in eighth place going into Wednesday's final round. The trio of Shreya Pal, Bouquet Subsomboon and Malisone Chanthapanya all shot second-round 75s.
UNT is four shots back of third-place East Carolina and seven back of second-place Charlotte, but all the teams are chasing leader Tulsa, who did drop two shots on Tuesday to move back to 7-under par going to the final round.
The Mean Green will be paired on Wednesday with Memphis and FAU and will tee off from the first hole beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday's final round will be broadcast on ESPN+, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
