Football Adds 14 Transfers in Spring Portal Window

DENTON, Texas – UNT head football coach Eric Morris announced the addition of 14 new players via the spring transfer portal window Thursday to round out the remaining spots on the 2025 roster.
The Mean Green left no stone unturned, adding players from Big 12, ACC, PAC-12, Sun Belt, Division II and junior college programs.
"We're really excited about this group of guys we added in the spring window," Morris said. "There's a bunch of talent in this group and a number of guys who are going to come in and have an immediate impact this fall. We can't wait to get them to Denton and get to work."
UNT added 10 players on the defensive side of the ball and four on offense. The Mean Green signed five defensive lineman, two cornerbacks, two safeties and a linebacker on defense and a pair of wide receivers and offensive lineman on offense.
The 14 transfer signees bring the total number of transfer additions to the roster to 40 after signing 26 in the winter portal window in January. Along with the 11 high school players signed, North Texas has added 51 new scholarship players to the roster for the 2025 season.
