UNT Athletics Announces Early Arrival Perks for Football Games in 2025

Mean Green to offer discounted concessions, gear and more for fans arriving two+ hours prior to kickoff
DENTON – UNT has announced early arrival incentives for football games during the 2025 season to encourage fans to arrive at DATCU Stadium well in advance of kickoff.
With the ongoing TxDOT and City of Denton construction projects on I-35 and Bonnie Brae Street throughout the season, UNT is taking proactive steps to help alleviate traffic congestion and create a smoother gameday experience for Mean Green fans.
Fans who arrive in stadium parking lots two or more hours before kickoff will have access to a variety of special perks designed to reward their early arrival. These incentives include discounted concessions and merchandise, exclusive raffles for upgraded parking and seating and other gameday enhancements aimed at making the experience more enjoyable.
The perks will vary from game-to-game but will always provide each car that enters the parking lot two or more hours prior to kick off food and beverage packages and discounted merchandise courtesy of Voertman's.
For the August 30 contest against Lamar, cars that arrive two or more hours will receive coupons for a free fountain drink, a free popcorn and a 10% discount to the Voertman's Team Store.
Fans attending Mean Green Live early will have the opportunity to win upgraded seating options such as Field Passes, HUB Club and Cabana ticket. Patrons will also have an opportunity to win Black Lot passes for future home games, a $100 Barnes & Noble gift card or an autographed Mean Green football helmet. Artists for the annual Mean Green Live concert series will be announced soon.
