Volleyball Closes Non-Conference Play at Texan Classic

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Mean Green volleyball travels to its final pre-conference tournament of the season with the Texan Classic on the Tarleton State University campus, opening against LA Tech on Thursday at 2 p.m.
After its first match against the Bulldogs (5-5), UNT will face Arkansas-Pine Bluff (0-9) on Friday at 2 p.m. before the tournament finale versus hosts Tarleton State (4-5) on Saturday at 1 p.m. The full weekend will be streamed on WAC International from Wisdom Gym.
"We're finding ourselves right now and we're really starting to come together," head coach Dave Fleming said. "This past weekend, our blocking and floor defense was really good, and we are putting a lot of pressure on teams right now, which is a huge factor in our success."
