Men's Basketball Adds Experienced Forward Ousmane Ndour

DENTON – UNT men's basketball head coach Daniyal Robinson on Monday announced the mid-year signing of 20-year-old 6-foot-9 Senegalese forward Ousmane Ndour.
Ndour joins the Mean Green from Spain where he played for Benicarlo and averaged more than 10 points and five rebounds per game. Prior to Benicarlo he played for Ibersol C.B. Tarragona also in Spain where he averaged 11.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
"We're excited to welcome Ousmane to North Texas," Robinson said. "He's a skilled and athletic big who brings size, touch, and maturity to our program. Ousmane is a high-character young man and will be a strong addition to our frontcourt. His experience competing at a high level overseas will translate well here at North Texas, and we're excited to welcome him mid-year and watch his continued growth at UNT."
Ndour comes to Denton with four years of eligibility remaining.
