Mean Green Honoring Eight Seniors vs. Temple

DENTON - The UNT soccer team will celebrate eight seniors and welcome back past alumni when the Mean Green hosts Temple on Sunday, with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
The Mean Green (4-4-2, 0-1-1) are coming off a loss on Thursday at Charlotte, and are hoping to bounce back at home against the Owls (7-3-0, 0-1-0), who fell at Rice on Thursday by a score of 5-1.
UNT has an 2-0-0 all-time advantage in the series with Temple, with one apiece in Denton and Philadelphia.
UNT will enjoy the return of senior captain Mia Bernard, as the midfielder missed the Charlotte match with after drawing a red card in the conference opening draw with South Florida. Bernard is one of eight seniors who will be honored prior to the match, as she will be joined by Anna Bewley, fellow captain Lily Cunningham, Georgia Guenther, Alexis Miller, Mya Mitchell, captain Sarah Margaret Seabrook and Emma Thurston.
