Kyler Hiatt took over the graduate assistant strength and conditioning position at North Texas during the spring of 2015. Hiatt works primarily with the North Texas football team, while also assisting with volleyball.Â
He previously served as an intern and volunteer coach with the North Texas strength and conditioning staff.Â
Before coming to North Texas, Hiatt worked as a mental performance intern at Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio. During his time at Spire, Hiatt worked with a wide range of athletes and assisted in helping the athletes develop stronger mental skills for their respected sport. Before working at Spire, Hiatt was an undergraduate student at Northwest Missouri State University where he received degrees in corporate recreation and wellness, park and recreation management, and psychology, as well as a minor in sports psychology.Â
During his time at Northwest, Hiatt worked as an intern under Joe Quinlin and the Northwest Missouri State strength and conditioning department. Hiatt was also a member of the Northwest Missouri State football team from 2009-2011.Â
Hiatt is currently enrolled as a graduate student at North Texas where he is working toward a master's degree in sports management.
