Barry Niemann starts his third year as the assistant coach for the men's and women's golf programs.Â
Prior to North Texas, Niemann was an assistant at Utah State (2008-12), Washington State (2011-12) and Idaho (2010-11).Â
The Houston native is a certified PGA member and a GCCA certified golf clubmaker.Â
He graduated from Texas A&M in 1975 with a BBA in business management.Â
Niemann is married to Dr. Yolanda Flores Niemann, Ph.D. and has two adult children, Russell and Mychaelanne.
