Dayne Sommer began at North Texas in January 2023. He serves as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, where he assists in all aspects of the strength and conditioning program for the UNT football team.Â
Prior to UNT, Sommer earned a bachelor's degree at the University of Central Oklahoma, and his master's degree in Education from the University of Oklahoma. He also has previous experience working at both the University of Oklahoma and TCU.Â
Dayne is married to his wife, Erica, and the couple have one child and a dog named Junior.
