Jason Martinez joined the North Texas Football staff in November 2019. He was promoted to Player Personnel Assistant in March 2024.

Martinez previously worked in multiple capacities for the UNT program. He first joined as a recruiting intern for the 2019 and 2020 season. That included assistance with visits, scouting and administrative responsibilities.

In 2021, he served as an intern with the football video staff helping to film practices and games. He was elevated to Assistant Video Coordinator for the 2022 season. He worked as a Recruiting Analyst during the 2023 season.

A native of Allen, Martinez graduated UNT in 2022.
