Scott Davis is the only player in North Texas history to lead the football team in total offense four straight years.
As the Eagles' quarterback, Davis led NT to the NCAA Division I-AA playoffs in 1987 and 1988. He was the Southland Conference's Freshman of the Year in 1987, was first-team All-Southland Conference twice and was selected the league's Player of the Year in 1989.
He also made the league's academic all-conference squad three times.
