Mean Green finish 8th at Kansas Men's Fall Invitational

LAWRENCE, KS (9/23/02) -- The Mean Green finished with a team score of 903 as they place eighth at the Kansas Fall Men's Invitational. Baylor finished in first with a score of 863, nine strokes ahead of host school Kansas. Following were Wichita State, Iowa State, Northern Iowa, Missouri, and Drake University.
Sophomore Zach Atkinson led the Mean Green with a score of 215. Freddy Espericueta finished tied for 37th(72-76-77), Casey Carnes finished 58th(74-78-79), Thomas Kulcak finished 61nd(75-78), and Weston Bingham finished 73rd(76-82-79). Ryan Baca of Baylor finished first in the individuals with a 209.
