Mean Green Student-Athletes Recognized For Their Academic Achievement

Students with GPA’s of 3.00-3.49 were placed on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, students with GPA’s of 3.50-3.99 were on the Dean’s List and students with a 4.00 GPA made the President’s List. A student-athlete had to earn at least a GPA of 3.0 in one of the two semesters to make the honor roll.
The Mean Green swimming and diving team held the highest cumulative team GPA with 16 student-athletes earning at least a 3.0 GPA. Eleven swimmers earned a 3.5 or better in one of two semesters during the 2004 school year.
Individual student-athletes were honored for earning the highest GPA on their respective teams. Senior Bethany Pipes received the distinction for the swimming team. Senior Rusty Beck, who was one of 33 football players honored last night, has held the highest GPA on the football squad for the last two years.
