Denton (7/12/05) - Concrete was poured at the Waranch Tennis Complex as the Mean Green facilities upgrades continue this summer.

The complex, slated to be completed in October, will house 12 courts and will have space for a championship center court to be built in the future.

The Fouts Field resurfacing project is nearing the installation of the Sportexe artificial grass system. The layers of stone are now being leveled and compacted to provide a smooth playing surface.

The new soccer stadium is also being leveled and reworked with a goal of finishing in September.

Upgrades and renovations are taking place at the former Liberty Christian School site. The buildings will serve as offices, locker rooms, team meeting rooms and practice facilities for golf, soccer, softball, swimming & diving and volleyball.
