DENTON (11/28/06) The North Texas swimming and diving team was ranked 24^th in a poll of mid-major schools by College Swimming.com for the week of Nov. 27, 2006.

The Mean Green (4-2) has broken five school records in the first five meets of this season and has posted 15 times that rank in the top-five in school history.

The mid-major rankings are designed to support and promote institutions that do not benefit from large football and basketball television agreements. Rankings are based on each team's best dual meet lineup as judged and submitted by participating teams.

North Texas travels to the annual UALR Christmas Invitational on December 1-2.
