DENTON (12/02/06) The Mean Green Tennis team hosted a free clinic for over 40 participants at the Waranch Tennis Complex on Saturday.

Participants ranging in age from 11 to 62 ran through exercises and received special instruction from the North Texas coaches and players. The team gave out refreshments and North Texas gear as prizes.

"The turn-out was terrific,” said assistant coach Jeff Maren. “Our team had a wonderful time interacting with and assisting the participants with their games. We truly enjoyed getting to know the local tennis community and are looking forward to our next event!"

Upcoming clinics will coincide with home matches in the spring.
